Chocolate Boxes! YUM! 30.07.10
My cousin sister came came round to see us as she now works in Bristol! We dont get to see her that often but on some weekends she comes to her original home town to ser her family! She brought back about 4 boxes of all sorts chocolate which was heaven! Too many to choose from and the funny part is they were all finished in less than a week! However it was lovely to see her and catch up!
HPV 27.07.10
Went to get my HPV jab and it was okay at first but when i got home i had a 'deadarm' and couldnt move my left arm for a while! What was even worse was my brother decides to annoy me about it and i didnt have the energy to lash out. He made the pain in my left arm worse! Thanks alot 'BRO'(!)
The Hindu Experience 25.07.10
WOW! This was a day to remember! The Hindu Experience was an event for all Hindu's! It was a day to try and encourage the youth to become more involved in the Hindu culture, which was really interesting as i found out certain tales about my culture that i never questioned in the past! There were various games such as Kabbadi (the well known traditional game of India) and we also learnt how to cook a full course indian dish which comes in handy when away from home! The day was packed with energectic enthusiasm! It made me think that theres alot more to our culture then i expected. Overall the whole day was a success as Hindu's went home thinking about what they have learnt during the Hindu Experience event!
Three in One! 21.07.10
I dont know how we did it but we managed to squeeze a game of Bowling, a Film and a meal at Nandos! My dance group all went on a day out to Horwich and decided to do all three things in ONE day! Amazing day!
Brothers Birthday Meal! 19.07.10
It was my brothers birthday and aslo his results day! He found out that he passed to become a locum pharmasist and also turned 24! We all went out to celebrate with obviously him paying for the meal!
We went to a resturaunt called Spice in Horwich and this image was on the wall as soon as you entered. I thought it was imaginative as it is suppose to me our Hindu Gods in a different formation and image!

Artist Research....Again! 16.07.10
Since the 13th i didnt do much... other than sit at home and watch movies! Also known as becoming very ill!
http://edu.warhol.org/app_munson.html
Looking at Portia Munson's work, it really inspired me to be more creative with my project as she chose one colour but collected many different interesting things in the same colour!
i havent chosen a colour because the things i have collected are different colours. However i have a range of things such as hand made objects, leaflets, images etc!

Artist Research! 14.07.10
After my holiday and mourning over my box, i researched a few artist that i thought would link in with my first 10 days of my holiday!
I came across Andy Warhol: Time Capsules
I thought this was interesting to look at as he also started off with a box! He collected things over certain events and put it all into one box, taped it up and dated it!
I thought this was a really clever idea and will use an element of his work into mine as i have also collected many things to put into my so called 'imaginary box'!

Unlucky Thirteen!! 13.07.10
Im surprised it wasnt Friday! Well i decided to put evrything in my sketchbox so i wouldnt lose any important things. Little did i know my grandma chucked my box away! I left it in a safe spot and she still managed to think it was rubbish and threw it away! All i had left of the box was the peice i cut off and took it with me! So i dont have a sketchbox anymore and for that matter i changed my Blog's name from ''30 days with my Beautiful Box! =/'' to ''30 days without my Beautiful Box :/'' !!
i decided to improvise and use another box and then thought it would be boring! so i have a bag which says ''pretend this is a box'' just to keep your minds thinking!

Goodbye Sunny Turkey! Hello Rainy Bolton :( 12.07.10
Well i obviously didnt want to leave, but i think anyone would say that after a holiday like that! i had an amazing time and to top it all off i got given 2 hand made white napkin roses from the waiters who worked there! I tried to make one myself but it just didnt go well! oh well im still practicing. I have quite alot of things that i have collected togetherfrom my holiday in Turkey to place in my sketchbox and some things are from the same day but i think it will make it 'prettier'!
Last night! Celebrated with Cocktails! 11.07.10
Cocktail Night was great! I saved all the fancy sticks and decoration for my sketchbox! We also had good entertainment even tho it was the same as last week but most of us watched the World Cup! with every nationality there, it made the match alot more fun to watch!
Shopping in Turkey! 10.07.10
I wouldnt call it shopping, more like 'let me drag you into my shop'! there wasnt one shop where they didnt beg you to go into their shop! i mean you couldnt even look at the shop name without them asking you to come and have a look! Madness! But it was a great day out of the hotel as we got a few souvenirs. Of course you cannot go to Turkey and not come back home with a box of Turkish Delight! I didnt have the courage to put a peice in my box as i didnt want to waste it!
Turtle Beach Cruise! 9.07.10
Cruise to Turtle beach! Had a great day as there was alot to see, scenery wise but the food on the cruise wasnt great! we got the the beach and it was the first beach in Turkey i had seen with white sand! Loved it! The sea was weird as it was shallow for a long time until u hit a really deep bit and then you kept going and it was shallow again ? Strange! They call it Turtle beach but i didnt see one turtle in site!
The whole day was tiring but it was a good day, apart from the cold wind in your face whilst on the cruise!
Snake Show! 8.07.10
They were ..OH-KAY i guess! Not great as the snakes were drugged. Which im glad in a way as i dont like them but they could have done a few more daring stunts to make it more entertaining. All they did was wear them and hold them ?? Not that amazing if you ask me!
However on a brighter note, the music at our beach bar was great!
Jeep Safari! 7.07.10
This day was amazing! Packed with fun and entertainment and the atmosphere and scenery was great! This was one of our chosen excursions and im glad we chose this particiluar one as it was worth it! First we hired waterguns from them at 10 Lira each, then had a HUGE water fight whilst driving in the jeeps. Our driver was mad and decided to park the jeep in the middle of a big muddy puddle and little did we know...NINE other jeeps drove past rapidly and well you know what happened next! Then we went to the top of Marmaris and had lunch. It was an all day trip from 9 in the morning till 6 in the evening. Next we went to the Mudbaths which was horrible but for the experience, it was fun. Overall, the day was great and i will never forget it!
6.07.10
This day was an inspiration to me! In the evening during dinner a man was carving images into fruit and vegetables. These ones here were obviously carved.before hand. I think they look amazing and very detailed. There were many more designs but i believe that these three were the best and stood out to me.
