Chocolate Boxes! YUM! 30.07.10
My cousin sister came came round to see us as she now works in Bristol! We dont get to see her that often but on some weekends she comes to her original home town to ser her family! She brought back about 4 boxes of all sorts chocolate which was heaven! Too many to choose from and the funny part is they were all finished in less than a week! However it was lovely to see her and catch up!
HPV 27.07.10
Went to get my HPV jab and it was okay at first but when i got home i had a 'deadarm' and couldnt move my left arm for a while! What was even worse was my brother decides to annoy me about it and i didnt have the energy to lash out. He made the pain in my left arm worse! Thanks alot 'BRO'(!)
The Hindu Experience 25.07.10
WOW! This was a day to remember! The Hindu Experience was an event for all Hindu's! It was a day to try and encourage the youth to become more involved in the Hindu culture, which was really interesting as i found out certain tales about my culture that i never questioned in the past! There were various games such as Kabbadi (the well known traditional game of India) and we also learnt how to cook a full course indian dish which comes in handy when away from home! The day was packed with energectic enthusiasm! It made me think that theres alot more to our culture then i expected. Overall the whole day was a success as Hindu's went home thinking about what they have learnt during the Hindu Experience event!
Three in One! 21.07.10
I dont know how we did it but we managed to squeeze a game of Bowling, a Film and a meal at Nandos! My dance group all went on a day out to Horwich and decided to do all three things in ONE day! Amazing day!
Brothers Birthday Meal! 19.07.10
It was my brothers birthday and aslo his results day! He found out that he passed to become a locum pharmasist and also turned 24! We all went out to celebrate with obviously him paying for the meal!
We went to a resturaunt called Spice in Horwich and this image was on the wall as soon as you entered. I thought it was imaginative as it is suppose to me our Hindu Gods in a different formation and image!

Artist Research....Again! 16.07.10
Since the 13th i didnt do much... other than sit at home and watch movies! Also known as becoming very ill!

Looking at Portia Munson's work, it really inspired me to be more creative with my project as she chose one colour but collected many different interesting things in the same colour!
i havent chosen a colour because the things i have collected are different colours. However i have a range of things such as hand made objects, leaflets, images etc!

Artist Research! 14.07.10
After my holiday and mourning over my box, i researched a few artist that i thought would link in with my first 10 days of my holiday!
I came across Andy Warhol: Time Capsules
I thought this was interesting to look at as he also started off with a box! He collected things over certain events and put it all into one box, taped it up and dated it!
I thought this was a really clever idea and will use an element of his work into mine as i have also collected many things to put into my so called 'imaginary box'!
